Clothing Business Simulator

This simulation involved starting and running a clothing shop. The person running the simulation as the owner makes all decisions involving business operations. This project involved research into consumer demographics, buying habits, location, competitors and inventory purchasing. What I learned from this project is how to analyze consumer data and competitors to discover the perfect niche to run a clothing boutique in that is profitable and builds customer loyalty.
Operations Case Study

Analyzing Kwik Trip and the operations of their stores, this report goes in-depth to understand the various factors and aspects of running a store like the Midwest Famous Kwik Tripp. What I learned from this project is that every decision when it comes to the operations of a business are vital and research is needed to make those decisions. I also learned that integrating as much as possible can help control quality of product, source of products, and keep costs low while maximizing profit.
Entrepreneurship Business Canvas – Cool Beans
This hands on practice analyzes a local business and breaks down what makes it successful. In this project, the local coffee shop Cool Beans is analyzed for customer segments, channels of distribution and advertising and finally key resources and revenue streams. What I learned from this project is that every business has a model and specific customer segments that they are directly appealing to, which is why certain phrases or products may be positioned a certain way to consumers to the segment that would find the product the most appealing.
